Melksham Community Area covers the parishes of: Atworth, Broughton Gifford, Great Hinton, Keevil, Melksham, Melksham Without, Poulshot, Seend, Semington and Steeple Ashton.

Raising an Issue
If you would like to raise an issue with the Area Board you can fill out an issues sheet on line www.wiltshire.gov.uk/areaboards or contact Abbi Gutierrez via this network, by email abbi.gutierrez@wiltshire.gov.uk or phone 01225 718443.

Community Grants Scheme
Are you a community or voluntary group, a town or parish council who is looking to fund a community project before the end of March 2010? If the answer is yes, then Community Area Grants are for you.

-Up to £5,000 available for your community project
-Funding linked to local priorities
-Simple application process
-Up to and including £1,000 may be available for small projects, where there will be no need for you to find matched funding
-Up to 50% of the total cost of a project, where the total cost is more than £1,000
-Support for organisations making applications
-Signposting to other sources of funding

Delivering Health Information through Wiltshire’s Libraries

The Health Information Support Service designed to provide easy access to health advice and information in several of Wiltshire’s Libraries. Key features include:

• A weekly, half day, drop in session enabling customers to talk to a health practitioner
• Access to books, leaflets and information on a broad range of health issues
• Online access to NHS Choices and other key online health websites
